Aged 85
Born: 13th October 1922
Died: 11th April 2008

Jack was born in Castleford, he worked down the pits when he was young. He then went on to marry
Mary-Anne Ives, they moved to rawdon then finally settled in Armley. Jack and Mary then went on to
have ten children who are Geoffrey, Pauline, Lynne, Susan, John, Janet, Stephen, Gillian, Paul and
the late Wendy. Which then was followed by 23 Grandchildren and now 16 Great grandchildren.

Jack was always up for a bit of dancing, he went to the upstairs and downstairs a few times a week
for line dancing. He also loved to play bingo, he wouldn't tell you if he won though. Jack liked
nothing more than when mary would go on hoilday because he could do what he wanted and that was
normally watching his old war films.

Your memory will live on in all our hearts grandad, give everyone a kiss from us. Love you always x
